application and dosage

For normal toilet cleaning, squirt the cleaner sparingly under the edge of the basin and brush over it.

In the case of heavy soiling and urine scale, leave on overnight; rinse off the next day. If necessary, repeat the process. For deposits containing iron and manganese in toilets, use Sonett scouring powder .

Attention: Keep away from calcareous surfaces such as marble, cement, artificial stone etc.

Origin and properties of the ingredients

Citric acid is obtained from the fermentation of industrial by-products containing sugar, such as molasses. Due to its ability to form a compound with calcium carbonate, producing carbon dioxide, it is used in toilet cleaners to dissolve limescale deposits. The vegetable thickener helps the cleaner adhere well to the surface and act on the deposits. Coconut fatty alcohol sulphate and sugar surfactants, obtained from coconut fat, starch and sugar, are added in small amounts to facilitate the removal of greasy dirt.

Biodegradation

Citric acid is a component of the plant, animal and human organism and is therefore quickly and completely broken down into carbon dioxide and water by the microorganisms present in nature. In the manufacturing process of coconut fatty alcohol sulphate and sugar surfactants, the organic components of coconut fat and types of starch are combined in such a way that their inner molecular structure is preserved. These can therefore be easily recognized and completely decomposed by the natural microorganisms. According to the OECD, sugar surfactants and coconut oil alcohol sulfate are considered to be easily biodegradable.
