Application

Strengthens, smoothes and cares for all textiles made of cotton, linen, hemp and mixed fabrics. Facilitates ironing, even on dry and wrinkled laundry. The laundry remains wrinkle-free, shapely and dirt-repellent for longer.

dosage

Shake bottle before use. Spray the laundry evenly from a distance of approx. 20 cm and iron as usual without steam. Should the spray nozzle become clogged, please unscrew the spray head and rinse in warm water.

Danger

Not suitable for silk, rayon and other synthetic fibers. Starch spray on floor may cause slip hazard.

Compared to conventional ironing starches, Sonett Spray Starch does not contain any petrochemical silicone as an ironing lubricant. The Sonett Spray Starch achieves an excellent strengthening and care of the textiles with purely plant-based ingredients (mostly from organic farming).

Origin and properties of the ingredients

Vegetable alcohol (ethanol) is obtained by fermenting vegetable starch. In the Sonett spray starch, it primarily serves to preserve the product. The actual active ingredient is vegetable starch, which is obtained from potatoes that are controlled organically. Olive soap, made from certified organic olive oil and sulphated castor oil, obtained through the direct reaction of castor oil with sulfuric acid, increase the smoothness when ironing.

Biodegradation

Ethanol is also found in nature in small amounts. It is rapidly and 100% degradable into carbon dioxide and water when discharged into wastewater. Vegetable starch in food quality, castor oil sulphate and olive oil soap as natural substances are also quickly and completely biodegraded. According to the OECD, starch, castor oil sulfate and olive oil soap are considered to be readily biodegradable.
