Origin and properties of the ingredients

Carbonate of lime (CaCO3) is one of the most widespread minerals on earth. In this product we use lime that comes from deposits in the Swabian Jura. It is mildly scouring and the main component of the scouring milk. The cleaning effect is supported by the fat-dissolving power of coconut oil alcohol sulphate and sugar surfactants. Coconut fat alcohol sulphate is obtained from the reaction of coconut fat with sulfur oxides; Sugar surfactants are formed by combining coconut fat and sugars from molasses or starch, catalyzed by the addition of small amounts of acid.

For stubborn dirt and light limescale deposits, we recommend Sonett scouring powder.

dosage

Apply the scouring milk directly to the surface to be cleaned. Rub in with a damp cloth and then wipe off or rinse off with clear water. Shake before use. Close the lid well.

Biodegradation

Lime flour is of a mineral nature and cannot be further degraded. In the manufacturing process of coconut fatty alcohol sulphate and sugar surfactants, starch, sugar and fat are removed from the vegetable raw materials, but their natural structure is fully retained. It is therefore relatively easy for the microorganisms to 100% degrade these surfactants very quickly and completely. According to the OECD, sugar surfactants and coconut oil alcohol sulfate are considered to be easily biodegradable.
